What to Expect

Feeling stuck in your home's design? Get answers to your most pressing questions, like: - How should I fill this big blank wall? - My style feels all over the place, how can I make this feel more cohesive? - How big should my rug be in this area? - What layout would you recommend for this open living/dining room? Before our session, you’ll fill out a Questionnaire that will help me get to know your space and design challenges before we meet. That way we can hit the ground running and jump into solutions on our call. You'll receive the Questionnaire in your confirmation email. 2 / Where will our call take place? On Zoom. You don't need to download Zoom software, you can simply dial in using the Zoom link on your Calendar. Some people like to dial in with two devices, so they can use the front-facing camera on the phone to show me around the space, and a computer to talk and take notes on. 3 / How will we spend our time on the call? We'll focus on your top priorities from the Questionnaire to make sure you leave the call with actionable takeaways. I recommend we focus on one room, but if we hit all of your questions before our time is up, feel free to move on to another room. We'll cover as much as we can in our time together. 4 / Do I need to be in the room we're talking about? It’s helpful but not necessary. The most important thing is that we have as much information as possible about the space we’re discussing. Photos and measurements are extremely helpful. 5 / Is there anything that's off limits? There are some questions that are more appropriate for a general contractor or to be assessed in person. If so I’ll let you know and I’ll figure out how to communicate that effectively to a professional in that field. Have any other questions before you book?
